About the job
As the Senior Manager of Account Management, you will build and lead a high-performing team responsible for the success, growth and retention of our value-based provider, health plan, community and health system partnerships. A key focus of this role is ensuring clients achieve measurable outcomes through the successful adoption and expansion of our Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Palliative Care Solutions and Advanced Care Planning (ACP) software platform.
This role combines strategic partnership leadership, revenue accountability and operational oversight. You will guide account strategy, ensure successful delivery across complex value-based healthcare partnerships, and drive portfolio growth through renewals, expansions and strong client outcomes. The Senior Manager acts as both senior relationship lead and internal orchestrator, ensuring cross-functional teams deliver measurable value for clients while maintaining strong financial performance.

What you’ll do
Client Portfolio Success
Serve as the senior relationship owner for our value-based provider, health plan, community and health systems partnerships
Build trusted relationships with key executives and operational stakeholders
Understand client strategic priorities, population health goals, and success metrics
Act as the primary advocate for client needs while aligning with company strategy
Ensure long-term client satisfaction, retention, and strategic alignment
Adoption and Performance of Vynca’s Core Services
Drive successful adoption and performance of Enhanced Care Management, Palliative Care, and Advanced Care Planning services
Ensure programs achieve targeted KPIs including revenue realization, quality metrics, and cost outcomes
Translate operational results into measurable business impact for partners
Portfolio Growth & Commercial Performance
Own revenue realization including renewals, expansions, and contract extensions
Develop and own strategic account plans that identify risks, opportunities, and growth pathways
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities as clients expand program adoption
Forecast revenue and account health across the portfolio
Team Leadership & Account Management Excellence
Coach and mentor Account Managers in relationship management, problem solving, and strategic account planning
Establish and maintain scalable processes and playbooks for account management
Ensure consistent execution across implementations, expansions, and ongoing client engagement
Build a high-performing client success function as the company scales
Implementation & Cross-Functional Execution
Oversee implementation of new accounts, service expansions, and software releases
Coordinate internal readiness across Technology, Clinical, Enrollment, RCM, Product, and Compliance teams
Ensure commitments, timelines, scope, and expectations are clearly managed
Escalate and resolve issues quickly to protect client success
Value Realization & Strategic Reviews
Ensure clients clearly understand the impact of the partnership
Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational outcomes
Lead Monthly or Quarterly Business Reviews with clients
Translate performance into business impact (ROI, savings, quality and growth)
Your experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or similar) preferred.
5+ years of experience in account management, client partnerships, or strategic client success within value-based healthcare organizations. Prior experience in palliative care or enhanced care management is a plus!
3+ years of leadership experience managing or mentoring client-facing teams.
Experience partnering with health plans, value-based care organizations, health care systems and community-based provider networks.
Strong commercial acumen, including experience with contracts, pricing models, margin management, and revenue forecasting.
Demonstrated success managing complex client portfolios, driving client retention, and expanding strategic partnerships.
Exceptional interpersonal and executive communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
Experience leading complex healthcare implementations involving cross-functional teams including clinical, product, technology, and operations.
Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA and other requirements relevant to payer and provider partnerships.
Experience using CRM platforms and reporting tools to monitor client performance, pipeline, and account health.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% for client meetings, onsite implementations, and team collaboration.
