Internal Sales Supervisor

The Internal Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals focused on developing and expanding relationships with franchise and independent automobile dealers nationwide. This role drives strategic dealer growth by leveraging digital communication—calls, texts, and emails—to engage new dealers, activate dormant accounts, and expand market presence in underserved regions. This leader will implement, document, and perform strategic training targeting areas of emphasis guiding the team members to achieve stated KPIs. This leadership role requires strong team leadership skills, positive influence of others, the ability to interact with strategic internal partners, and the ability to be dynamic and flexible with scope of responsibility and oversight.

In the Role

  • Determining and implementing proper programs to monitor and control all areas of responsibility, ensuring accurate updates and monthly reporting.
  • Providing direct supervision of assigned staff, while coordinating workflows to maintain departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establishing and monitoring performance and productivity standards that will accomplish objectives.
  • Establishing and maintaining current policies and procedures within the department.
  • Interviewing and participating in the selection of new employees.
  • Participation in the evaluation, promotion and coaching of assigned staff.
  • Foster a cohesive, collaborative, and performance-focused team culture.
  • Maintaining open communication with assigned staff, including regular staff meetings and individual reviews.
  • Developing and implementing ongoing training programs to complete objectives.
  • Implement updates and initiatives from senior leadership, ensuring team understanding and execution.
  • Maintaining a proper work schedule to support your department’s responsibilities.
  • Utilizing monitoring systems to ensure compliance to quality programs and expectations.
  • Provide coaching and development of employees.
  • Maintaining appropriate position documentation.
  • This supervisor’s position is in office.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/ GED.
  • Minimum of one year of sale supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.

Preferred:

  • Supervisory experience over a group of 5 or more team members preferred.
  • Internal systems experience preferred.
