The Verification Supervisor leads a team of Verification Specialists and supports OneMain Auto Originations functions. This role oversees daily team operations, manages workflow, and ensures adherence to established procedures while delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

The Supervisor is accountable for achieving key performance metrics for their team, including productivity, quality, service, and compliance standards. Responsibilities include hiring, interviewing, onboarding, training, coaching, developing, and evaluating team members to drive individual and team success.

This position provides leadership and guidance to promote a positive, collaborative work environment and foster employee engagement. The Supervisor also partners effectively with internal departments, management, affiliates, and external business partners to support organizational objectives and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Verification Specialists.
  • Manage daily workflow and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and drive performance against productivity, quality, service, and operational goals.
  • Hire, train, coach, mentor, and provide ongoing performance feedback to team members.
  • Support employee engagement and create a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years verifications or related experience
  • 1-2 years management/leadership experience
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn new software packages as required
  • High level motivation to deliver results in a fast-paced team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in auto finance or lending operations

Schedule:

  • Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, Saturday 8am-12pm. The schedule is 40+ hours per week within hours of operation.
  • Some Saturday and holiday shifts will be required as part of this role
