Travel: Biweekly to monthly travel to the project site in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware
Duration: 18–24 Month Contract (Potential for Full-Time Conversion)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of a large-scale natural gas pipeline infrastructure project. This individual will oversee project planning, stakeholder coordination, permitting activities, and execution from initiation through completion while ensuring projects remain on schedule, within budget, and compliant with all regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing linear infrastructure projects, preferably natural gas pipelines, and possesses a strong understanding of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) permitting process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a major natural gas pipeline project.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams, engineering firms, contractors, regulatory agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee and support all aspects of FERC permitting, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely approvals.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to resolve project challenges and maintain project milestones.
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while implementing effective contingency plans.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Travel to the project site in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Northern Delaware on a biweekly or monthly basis, as needed.
- 8+ years of project management experience leading large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing natural gas pipeline projects or other linear infrastructure projects (transmission lines, utilities, rail, highways, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with the FERC permitting process.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly to the project site.
- Experience specifically managing natural gas pipeline construction projects.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
- Background in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure industry.
- Located in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, or Virginia. Candidates located elsewhere within the Eastern or Central time zones will also be considered if they are able to travel to the project site as needed.
