We are seeking a Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Program Manager on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The senior individual contributor role is crucial for providing second-line oversight of the organization's security risk management and compliance across diverse business units, regulatory landscapes, and governance forums

We are seeking a Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Program Manager on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities
- Drive strategic risk initiatives and proactively identify and resolve complex, ambiguous security challenges
- Establish and communicate a clear vision for security risk management across the organization
- Influence high-level outcomes and champion innovation and best practices in security risk management
- Operate within and support a unified Security GRC program aligned with enterprise security frameworks
- Protect against top security risks while maturing core security capabilities at scale
- Enable secure operational agility and support the organization in moving quickly without compromising security
- Lead cross-functional security initiatives with significant autonomy
- Collaborate with Security, Product, Engineering, Legal, and other stakeholders to shape overall security risk posture
- Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements and alignment with business objectives
- Build and implement security controls and automation to enhance governance and risk management processes
- 10+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and GRC standards
- Experience designing and implementing security controls and automation solutions
- Proven strategic leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Experience shaping enterprise-wide security programs
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Regulatory compliance expertise
- Experience managing programs within large technology organizations
- Strong internal networking and advocacy skills
