The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for a Workplace Experience Associate to join their team on a contract basis. This role is part time and 16 hours/week, Tuesdays & Thursdays only.

About The Team

The Workplace team manages Etsy's real estate, capital projects, space planning, health and safety, facilities, event and food programs, and general office operations. Our goal is to create a welcoming, functional, and engaging workplace for employees and guests alike.

About The Role

The Workplace Experience Associate supports the day-to-day operations and employee experience in our Brooklyn office. This role serves as a first point of support for general workplace questions, helping employees navigate office resources, policies, and tools through Slack and other internal channels. The Associate will also support supply and inventory management for shared spaces and programs, provide administrative and operational support for the office, and assist with on-site events and on-sites. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on keeping the office running smoothly and ensuring employees have what they need to be successful when working from the Brooklyn office.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee workplace questions via Slack, providing accurate information, basic troubleshooting, and request routing
  • Maintain general knowledge of workplace services, including office access, lockers, desks, lost and found, and related processes
  • Manage inventory and supplies for shared spaces by tracking stock levels, fulfilling requests, and organizing storage areas
  • Support swag distribution and on-site fulfillment in coordination with broader swag programs
  • Provide general administrative support, including maintaining office playlists, supporting digital signage, and assisting with operational tasks related to the office and new hire onboarding
  • Support on-site events, onsites, and community programs with setup, signage, supply coordination, and day-of assistance
  • Act as an on-site point of contact for last-minute needs during events and programs

Skills And Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple requests and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently on routine operational tasks
  • Flexibility to support occasional after-hours events with advance notice
  • Proficiency with computer applications and workplace technology
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly, service-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to be hands-on with inventory management, setup, and physical organization of spaces

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service or internal support role
  • Experience supporting office operations, workplace programs, or internal events
  • Familiarity with inventory management or supply coordination
  • Experience creating simple signage or materials using templates with attention to visual presentation

Hours and Location:

  • Part-time, 16 hours/week
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays only, 9 am-6 pm; may be asked to support occasional after-hours events, with advanced notice
  • On-site, Brooklyn, NY
