About the Job

The Patient Engagement Specialist will help with patient support, compliance, education, and monitoring. All patient support is done through our call center.

Essential job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Engage with patients through calls for home monitoring assistance, addressing issues with disconnected devices, and guiding non-compliant patients towards proper use of our services.
  • Provide exemplary support during patient calls by troubleshooting equipment issues, facilitating monitor orders, imparting product knowledge, and addressing inquiries related to our services.
  • Proactively communicate with patients to deliver updates on their compliance and progress, ensuring a transparent and informative monitoring journey.
  • Uphold the highest standard of privacy by maintaining the confidentiality of patient information, adhering strictly to HIPAA and PHI regulations.
  • Embody RhythmScience's commitment to patient-centered care by recognizing every team member's role in addressing patient needs with empathy and efficiency.
  • Perform essential administrative tasks, such as accurate data entry of patient demographics, timely communication of reminders, diligent follow-up, and meticulous management of patient information within the R360 clinic portal.
  • Facilitate robust internal communication to ensure seamless coordination across departments, promoting a culture of openness and fostering a collaborative environment that enhances patient care and service delivery.

Minimum Requirements

  • Skilled in offering compassionate and patient-centered coaching to support and guide our patients effectively.
  • Possessing exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with a proven capacity to efficiently juggle multiple goals simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring clear and compassionate interactions with patients, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality patient care, managing medical billing, and scheduling patient appointments effectively.
  • Reliable and secure internet connection at home for both voice and video calls, enabling remote patient engagement and administrative duties.
  • Proficient computer skills, with a strong grasp of healthcare management systems and standard office software.
  • Strong decision-making abilities, coupled with problem-solving and critical thinking skills, crucial for resolving challenges in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • A valid Medical Assistant certificate, signifying a recognized standard of healthcare expertise and patient care skills.
  • The flexibility to be part of a weekend on-call rotation, providing necessary care and support to patients as needed.
