PursueCare tele-health is actively seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist who can provide both direct clinical care and clinical oversight to our PMHNP nurse practitioner team. We are specifically looking for a passionate professional who will focus on the psychiatric care of patients enrolled in our MAT program.

As the Clinical Director, you will play a crucial role in shaping and guiding the treatment approach for individuals with co-occurring mental illness and addiction. We recognize the complexity of addressing both aspects of their conditions and are committed to providing a comprehensive and integrated approach to their care. This is a fully remote position.

PursueCare tele-health offers virtual evidence-based addiction treatment for opioids, alcohol, and other substance use disorders. Our program is designed to break down barriers to in-person care, offering low-barrier transitional digital addiction treatment. Through our smartphone application, patients have access to doctors who prescribe medication, therapists, counselors, and psychiatric care providers. Additionally, our in-house pharmacy can conveniently ship medications directly to patients. We currently serve patients in Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, and all of New England, with plans for national expansion.

The ideal candidate for this position is a board-certified Psychiatrist licensed in Ohio, with a preference for additional licensure in Pennsylvania (with the ability to be in Allentown 1-2 times per month) and either Kentucky or Ohio. Board certification in addiction medicine is highly preferred, given the prevalence of dual diagnosis cases in our patient population.

In addition to providing clinical oversight, as the Clinical Director, you will collaborate closely with our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. You will ensure that our patients receive evidence-based psychiatric care and support within the MAT program.
