SUMMARY:

As a Senior Project Manager in the GTM department, you will be responsible for coordinating the launch of new packages and add-ons at Placer. You will need to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, set deadlines and monitor each stage of the project progress. You will also be adept at working multiple projects at once, be great at communication with management and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Success at Placer is exhibiting superior project management abilities, having a high emotional intelligence, ability to make quick decision-making, and excellent communication skills.

A minimum of 5 years experience in project or program management is required. Knowledge of GTM Best practices and processes is also expected. The project manager will report directly to the department VP and be comfortable with working under guidance of multiple managers and directors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and lead planning sessions for new projects
• Define project objectives and scope, identifying and involving appropriate stakeholders
• Collaborate with and lead teams to successful, on-time launches of products and packages.
• Create schedules, project parameters and budget expectations
• Measure and communication project performance and progress throughout execution
• Manage expectations to maintain engaged and productive relationships.
• Measure performance and provide reporting post-launch on critical KPIs
• Engage in continuous learning to remain up to date on industry best practices and the evolving product offerings within Placer.
• Contribute to user acceptance testing of processes and products to ensure the smoothest launches.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of professional relevant work experience preferably at a software or SaaS company; PMP certification a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with launch software and managing complex projects and problems across multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional leadership & communication skills and experience navigating and influencing in a team-based, cross-functional, and fully distributed environment
• Strong organizational capabilities, with exhibited proficiency with industry-standard project manager tools and software
• Ability to manage multiple projects & priorities and emerge as a valuable resource across multiple teams.
