SUMMARY:

Placer is looking for an outstanding Product Manager to join its Growth team, and help Placer get its revolutionary products into new audiences. Placer’s Growth team is working closely with both Product and Marketing teams, looking for innovative ways to broaden the product’s reach, and accelerate the lead generation process. As a Growth Product Manager you will work on analytically optimizing our existing user acquisition channels, while creatively looking for new ones

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the company’s lead-gen products and their roadmap
• Conduct rapid experimentation for improving conversions and funnels
• Work with Placer business leaders and Marketing, interview customers and prospects, develop a clear understanding of customers use cases and personas
• Work with Product Analysts, Data Scientists and Engineering in building MVPs, validating the technical feasibility and the market need.
• Produce PRDs and mockups for new growth oriented experiences
• Effectively manage trade-offs between cost/schedule versus business benefit
• Build and maintain a product backlog of projects with top of the funnel impact
• Pitch new product ideas to management, be able to build a product thesis and defend it. Evangelize and promote new products internally to the rest of the product and engineering organization after the MVP has been validated

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience as a product manager in an analytical, data-driven environment
• 2+ years experience in AB testing and funnel optimizations
• Thrives in a startup environment and 0 to 1 initiatives
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly analytical background and proven attention to detail.
• Innovative, entrepreneurial, ability to multitask.
• Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into a technical solution
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
