Job Summary:mPulse is looking for a DevOps Engineer III who will fit into the internal technology team. The DevOps Engineer III is a key member of the engineering team, responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the company's DevOps strategy. This includes collaborating with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to implement processes, tools, and practices that enable the continuous delivery of high-quality software. The DevOps Engineer III is also responsible for contributing to the design and deployment of scalable, highly available infrastructure and systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of technical challenges and contribute to the company's ability to deliver value to its customers.Duties/Responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of the company's DevOps strategyWork with development, product, and the rest of the DevOps team to ensure that software is delivered to production quickly and with confidenceContribute to the design and deployment of scalable, highly available infrastructure and systems on AWS using Hashicorp suite of tools; Nomad, Consul, Vault and TerraformCollaborate with engineering teams to ensure that their work is integrated into the company's DevOps pipeline in a seamless and efficient mannerAssist in the management of the company's source code repository on Github and enforce best practices for code review and branchingMonitor the health and performance of the company's production systems and troubleshoot issues as they ariseParticipate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support and incident response for critical production systemsCollaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure that the company's DevOps processes and infrastructure meet industry standards and regulationsProvide guidance to DevOps Engineer I, II and serve as team mentorPerform other duties as assigned Skills/Abilities/Experience: 5+ years of experience with DevOps practices, tools, and technologies, including experience with continuous integration, deployment, and deliveryUnderstanding of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWSExperience with deploying and managing infrastructure on these platforms using tools such as Github Actions, Nomad, Consul, Vault, and TerraformExperience with managing source code repositories, particularly Github, and adhering to best practices for code review and branchingUnderstanding of Linux/Unix systems and experience with shell and python scriptingExperience with monitoring and troubleshooting production systemsExperience with security and compliance in a DevOps environment, including an understanding of industry standards and regulationsExperience working with healthcare data is beneficialStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceCommunicates and collaborates with product developers, direct manager and engineering peers to develop the correct solutionIs responsive to assigned Bugs / hotfixesHas successfully completed and released production codeDemonstrates ability to describe mPulse business and client baseContributes regularly to technical discussionsHas demonstrated repeated technical project successMakes effective use of development environment and tools Physical Requirements Ability to stand and sit for an extended period of time Why mPulse? 🙌🏡 Remote-First & Flexible PTO — work from wherever you're most productive🏥 100% Company-Paid Employee Coverage - Medical, dental, and vision plans with a 100% company-paid employee-only option, plus company contributions toward dependent coverage and company-paid life and disability insurance.💰 401(k) + 4% Match — with financial advisors to help you plan👶 6 Weeks Parental Leave📈 Invest in You — 30-60-90 day plans and frequent training🎉 Culture of Recognition — peer-to-peer bonuses & team celebrations Equal Opportunity: mPulse is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
