Job Summary:

The Senior Events Manager owns the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of mPulse’s conference program with a focus on driving brand awareness, generating demand, and creating meaningful engagement with key audiences. This role leads the overall approach for how mPulse shows up at industry and company events to drive brand awareness, generate pipeline, and support revenue goals. Working closely with the Sr. Demand Generation Marketing Director and cross-functional teams, this person ensures every event is executed seamlessly — from early strategy and vendor management through on-site delivery and post-event reporting. The Senior Events Manager manages event budgets, timelines, and internal coordination, while tracking the measurable impact of events on marketing and sales performance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the annual conference calendar, aligning priorities with marketing and sales initiatives. Collaborate with leadership and utilize past conference feedback and metrics alongside knowledge of company revenue goals and strategic priorities to decide which events to attend, what success looks like for each, and how they will contribute to pipeline.
  • Coordinate logistics and execution for all conferences and company events, including managing printing, collateral, shipments, booth design, vendor procurement and relationships, sponsorship requirements, internal comms, satellite events, pre and post event outreach and promotion, list management, internal attendance and communications and more.
  • Serve as the internal point of contact for all conference information. Maintain up-to-date documentation that includes event dates, locations, attendance, booth information, contract details, etc. Review and update it regularly so teams always have current information.
  • Oversee the management of our conference speaking opportunities, including contracting or applying for them, coordinating across internal teams for content production and review and speaker asks, and managing production timelines. Maintain a calendar of upcoming speaking opportunities and ensure all topics, submissions, and materials are completed on time. Confirm that messaging and presentations align with event strategy, company positioning, and mPulse brand standards.
  • Manage relationships with external speakers and client partners professionally and with attention to detail.
  • Own internal event communication. Send timely updates about event plans, team travel, booth staffing, and key deadlines. Communicate all changes or new information to keep everyone aligned.
  • Represent the events program internally. Present updates and highlights during company meetings or marketing team calls, sharing wins, learnings, and upcoming opportunities.
  • Set clear targets for and own the outcomes for each event (MQLs, meetings set, SQLs, pipeline $, ROI, etc.); Track performance throughout the event cycle, manage the Salesforce reporting, and publish monthly readouts for Marketing, Sales, and company leadership. Use post-event data and team feedback to identify process improvements, new opportunities, or changes for future events.
  • Manage a six figure events budget, forecast expenses and conference ROI, monitor spending, and report on budget utilization per show.
  • Strategically direct the seamless handoff of leads and oversee the pre and post conference outreach (executed by sales, SDRs, and operations). Monitor its performance and work with the Business Operations Manager and Marketing Operations Manager to report out to the team on outreach status, success, and roadblocks.
  • Uphold the mPulse brand in every detail, including booth design, signage, content, and attendee experience ensuring all touchpoints feel polished and professional.
  • Provide support for execution related to our annual conference, Activate, and any other company events.
