Job Summary:
mPulse is seeking a visionary and hands-on Associate Creative Director to take full ownership of the brand’s visual identity and creative strategy. As a key part of the marketing department, you will be the principal steward of mPulse’s brand identity, responsible for translating strategic business goals into world-class design across all channels.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled and experienced creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced B2B technology environment, brings a strong aesthetic vision, and excels at executing compelling design solutions. This position demands intense collaboration and a strong voice for design quality and brand consistency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality visual content that communicates complex ideas and technical information in a clear and concise manner. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively with other teams, and success with juggling multiple priorities from various stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Own the development of mPulse’s visual brand identity and collaborate with cross-departmental stakeholders to implement the brand consistently across all company assets and customer touchpoints.
Create, maintain, and enforce brand guidelines; serve as a brand ambassador to ensure consistency in all external-facing materials.
Collaborate with marketing, product, sales, and leadership teams to design a wide range of assets ,including:
Social media graphics
Digital ads
Email templates and graphics
Website pages
Event materials
Sales collateral (e.g., brochures, case studies, white papers)
PowerPoint presentations and templates
- Develop simple motion graphics and lightweight animations for digital marketing, social media, and web content.
- Act as the primary design resource within the marketing department and across teams; manage multiple competing design priorities.
- Understand mPulse’s solutions, technology, and market positioning to produce strategic and cohesive design work aligned with business objectives.
- Translate strategy into visually compelling outcomes that meet user and market expectations.
- Participate in marketing planning and campaign ideation, contributing visually aligned creative direction.
- Maintain and manage a centralized brand asset repository (logos, fonts, icons, colors, graphics, etc.) for cross-org accessibility.
- Communicate complex concepts through creative, branded visuals that are simple, engaging, and strategic.
- Stay informed of current trends and best practices in graphic design, UX, and visual storytelling.
- Provide design feedback and input to product teams to ensure product UI aligns with mPulse’s brand identity.
Skills/Abilities/Experience:
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Sketch, Figma, or Canva preferred.
- Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience designing across mediums—print, digital, motion, and web.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
- Experience creating motion graphics and lightweight animations for marketing purposes.
- Ability to translate strategic business goals into visual communication solutions.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality in visual execution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a B2B technology or healthcare company.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence across print, digital, and mobile, with a focus on solving complex challenges creatively.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Sketch, Figma, or Canva preferred.
- Solid experience with web design and understanding of UX principles.
- Strong conceptual and creative skills with a strategic and user-centered approach.
- Strong grasp of design principles, including typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable receiving and incorporating feedback.
- Strong time and project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with ability to own projects from concept to completion.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 10 lbs. weight.
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
