Impossible Objects, Inc. is headquartered in Northbrook, IL. Research and development is located in Rochester, NY. We developed CBAM technology, a fundamentally new production process within additive manufacturing. CBAM, at its core, is Advanced Composite Based Additive Manufacturing, to keep it simple - 1,600% faster carbon fiber production to rival injection molding speeds while leaving competition in the Stone Age. We reimagined AM completely, to redefine industrial 3D printing in a way that truly quantum leaps current market capabilities. Our industrial composite-based 3D printing produces stronger, high precision, geometrically complex parts, with a wider variety of materials, faster than other methods. Produce end-use parts made of carbon fiber, PEEK, fiberglass, and other materials with mechanical properties many times better than traditional methods. CBAM allows a freedom of design and build capability for geometries that were previously not possible.
