Docupace is seeking a Business Analyst I to join our Customer Care and Delivery team. This role is ideal for a solutions-focused professional who can translate business requirements into effective client solutions while supporting configuration, integrations, testing, and implementation across the Docupace platform. Preference will be given to candidates with actual hands-on experience working within the Docupace system/platform.
Summary of Position:
Our Business Analyst I is responsible for converting business requirements for new clients and large change requests into workable solutions. They may also be responsible for gathering business requirements for small change requests. This involves using best practices to configure and implement all relevant requirements. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who can help simplify the day-to-day lives of our partners in the Financial Services industry.
The ideal candidate will need to be able to learn and understand the Docupace proprietary platform to properly organize, design, and construct various tasks across several clients, potentially affecting multiple business areas and departments. Additionally, this role bridges our Customer Care Team and our Product Management Team, allowing for future potential career pathways which include Business Analyst II-IV, Product Business Analyst, and Product Architect.
This individual will be expected to complete project tasks on schedule while producing and maintaining quality work. Other essential responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide configuration support to our internal teams based on the changing business needs of our clients
- Assist in system analysis, research, development, and testing activities
- Recommend changes or improvements to existing processes when applicable
- Provide technical guidance to Customer Care Team
- Enabling API integrations for multiple purposes ranging from New Account Opening solutions, eSign, Commissions, Compliance, CRM, and PreciseFP
- Collaborate with developers on the design, build, and implementation of custom user interfaces
- Assist with triage of JIRA tickets, including time-sensitive, SLA-driven issues impacting account opening, money movement, or regulatory processing
- Create and manage JIRA tickets to resolution
- Support and help troubleshoot integrations with third party platforms, partnering with client’s development teams as needed
- Assist with maintaining configuration of document generation and data mapping
- Support configuration and validation of workflow routing and API request/response payloads
- Assist with complex deployment and post-deployment needs across Dev, Pre-Prod, UAT, and Production environments
- Manage communication for internal/external clients, providing succinct, proactive updates and setting expectations through to resolution, often using collaboration platforms such as Slack
- Coordinate priorities using Scrum methodologies while working within your planned sprints
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent business analysis experience
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience is preferred
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred
- Experience testing and troubleshooting REST API calls is desirable
- Experience working with programming languages such as Java and Oracle, coding languages such as HTML5 and JavaScript, and domain-specific languages such as SQL
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies
