JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. UX Designer plays a key role in shaping the user experience across our practice-facing and internal applications. This role involves leading user research, asset creation and management, and wireframing new and enhanced experiences. The Sr. UX Designer will collaborate closely with UX Engineers, Front-End Developers, and Product Owners to ensure design consistency, usability, and alignment with brand standards.

The Sr. UX Designer is expected to provide leadership in ideation, design testing, and strategic user experience planning while mentoring other designers and contributing to UX best practices within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design and user experience strategy for new and existing products.
• Create elegant and innovative design solutions for complex user/customer challenges.
• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Take a user-centered approach to design, incorporating rapid testing and iteration.
• Conduct and analyze user research studies, usability tests, and feedback loops.
• Collaborate across design, engineering, and product teams in an Agile environment.
• Advocate for best-in-class UX design and accessibility standards.
• Define and drive UX design strategies that align with business objectives.
• Provide leadership in UX design reviews, ensuring consistency across products.
• Gather and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to improve user experiences.
• Effectively communicate complex user flows or business processes to stakeholders and teams.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes to validate concepts.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth design collaboration and implementation.
• Identify design problems and develop meaningful solutions through research and iterative changes.
• Document design specifications, workflows, and annotations for development teams.
• Mentor junior UX designers and contribute to the growth of the UX practice within the organization.
• Stay up to date with modern trends and industry best practices.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• 4-year degree in a relevant field of study (UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology, or related field).

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong experience with front-end technologies and frameworks used to implement designs (Angular, Kendo UI, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Deep understanding of UX research methodologies and usability testing.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into user-friendly experiences.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions.
• High sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience leading UX design initiatives for enterprise or SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
• Experience with UX writing and microcopy to enhance user interactions.
• Strong facilitation skills for design workshops and stakeholder presentations.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
