Responsibilities:
Stats Perform is looking for a Senior Team Lead for their Rugby Data Operations department. In this role, your primary responsibility will be supervising the collection operations and ensuring that the data is captured to the highest possible standard in the most timely and efficient manner. You will be managing a mixture of Team Leads and Senior Analysts and be responsible for their performance as well as ensuring their job satisfaction is high.
HERE’S YOUR ROLE BROKEN DOWN (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)
- Supervising live & post data collection for our Rugby Operations.
- Problem solve during live operations and proactively look to drive and implement process & workflow improvement.
- Have a constant focus on data quality and building an environment that promotes continuous improvement.
- Work to consistently meet the departmental KPIs.
- Ensure that client complaints are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner, investigate root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.
- Be a product expert inside of Operations. Know what our clients use and understand the workflow that is involved for them. Recommend and drive improvements through this subject matter expertise.
- Manage designated projects from start to finish, report to Rugby Ops manager on progress, flag blockers and ensure all stakeholders are aware of status and timelines.
- Be a people manager to your direct reports. Ensure there are clear expectations around what is required for performance and behaviour. Have open, regular communication with Team Leads & Senior Analysts.
Own payroll delivery to Finance for the part time staff in the Rugby department.
- Work with Workforce planner to ensure extensive Coverage and Headcount planning is in place. Have an annual overview of Headcount requirements and flag risks where necessary. Work with the central coverage team on new competitions and existing upgrade discussions.
- Track attrition, analyse trends and ensure that strategies are implemented to successfully achieve annual department target of < 30%.
- Be the owner of ISO related documentation in Rugby. Regularly review the risk register and ensure the Ops Manager and Director of Business Operations and aware of all ongoing risks and concerns. Ensure that the Data Operations team adhere & comply to all ISO 9001:2015 objectives & regulations.

- A strong familiarity and interest in Rugby
- Excel, Power BI, or SQL experience
- In depth knowledge of major rugby competitions
- Analysis or Sports Coding experience
