Stats Perform is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Company Secretary to join our team to assist our global business through company secretarial duties. The company secretarial team looks after the global group structure of Stats Perform, including over 60 entities across all five continents.
Role Overview:
As Associate Company Secretary, you will play an important role in ensuring the effective governance and legal compliance of our worldwide operations and portfolio of companies. This role requires a highly organized, strategic, and proactive individual who can manage corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and board-related matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing corporate, administrative and regulatory requirements of our portfolio of companies.
- Prepare and file statutory documents and maintain corporate records for our multiple company entities across each applicable jurisdiction.
- Support with monitoring and ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations across the jurisdictions where the company entities operates.
- Manage the filing of annual returns, financial statements, confirmation statements and other statutory submissions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate governance risks.
- Support with maintaining and reviewing the company’s corporate structure, ensuring it is aligned with business operations.
- Collaborate with and manage the performance of our external company secretarial providers, ensuring that key performance metrics are met and delivered within budget.
- Collate & submit KYC Information as requested by banks, regulatory bodies, vendors and other parties.
- Maintaining Statutory books and records for all portfolio group of companies.
- Assist with Adhoc task from Lead Company Secr etary & Legal Department.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in corporate governance software, document management tools, and familiarity with governance-related technologies
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Keen eye for detail, with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, global environment
- Effective teamwork, time management and a clear understanding of confidentiality
- Ability to prioritise and to use initiative to work autonomously
- Willingness to embrace change in a dynamic international environment
- Ability to communicate complex governance matters clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to contribute to long-term governance strategies and align them with business objectives
