We’re looking for a Software Engineer into our Developer Experience (DevEx) team to enhance engineering efficiency by improving CI/CD pipelines, automation, and developer tooling. This role sits at the intersection of development, DevOps, and infrastructure, helping teams ship code faster and more reliably. If you thrive on solving engineering bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and making developers’ lives easier, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, improving deployment efficiency.
• Enhance internal developer tools to support streamlined coding, testing, and delivery.
• Work with the Platform team to tackle technical debt and optimize core infrastructure.
• Improve visibility and monitoring through Atlassian Compass and production issue investigation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to collect feedback and continuously refine workflows.
• Implement best practices for code quality, security, and deployment automation.
• Contribute to backend-focused improvements, particularly in Java, Node.js, and Python environments.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong DevOps and infrastructure focus.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, business-focused mindset.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and improve engineering workflows at scale.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Background in QA or test automation is a plus.
• Familiarity with developer portals and service catalog tools.
