Our teams of technical experts specialize in harnessing live sporting data, using advanced cloud technologies, Java, JavaScript and Python. It is these tech teams that enable us to extract patterns through AI and Machine Learning and deliver our insights via APIs. In short, they turn complex data into magical experiences with cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities:
- Architect solutions for supplementary services like Single Sign-On and integrations with cloud applications
- Design how the services you implement should be supported and handover to the support teams, providing them with the training and documentation
- Respond to the needs of the business for new systems and solutions as and when they appear
- Support your project manager to keep track of progress and communicate to stakeholders
- Work with internal teams plus selected third parties to implement the architecture and ensure a robust, maintainable, and supportable solution
- Act as the point of contact internally and with suppliers/vendors to coordinate activities
- Building monitoring solutions and mechanisms to respond to issues quickly
- Third line support of systems i.e. resolving incidents, problems, and fulfilling requests
- Drive the automation and Infrastructure as code principles across the organization
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge about Amazon Web Services or other public cloud
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform
- Experience with at least one of the following configuration management tools - Puppet/Ansible/Chef
- Good knowledge of version control best practices
- Extensive knowledge on containers
- Extensive knowledge on monitoring tools and concepts such as white box and black box monitoring
- Experience of designing and running a time series platform such as Prometheus/Influx db
- Experience of infrastructure automation across Linux/Windows/Storage and network systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and persistence to see issue through to resolution
- Experience with load balancer solutions such as HA Proxy
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline
Desired Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of a programming language – Python/Ruby/Go lang
- Knowledge on LDAP and authentication
- Experience of designing and operating log aggregation solutions
- Experience with Elasticsearch and Rabbit MQ
- Comfortable supporting NodeJS, Java & PHP applications
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases – MySQL is key here amongst others
- Experience of automation of Windows Server, Powershell.
