We entwine our extensive back-catalogue of data in with innovative products and machine-learning to deliver insights, predictions, and super-fast data for a variety of sporting organisations worldwide, plus the biggest names in media and broadcast.

We partner with top-flight teams, leagues, coaches, betting companies, broadcasters, media outlets, gaming specialists and professional bodies to improve the overall experience for sports fans. We constantly collect the most detailed sports data to enhance a wide range of sports competitions, from tennis to soccer to basketball and more. Stats Perform is the knowledge bank behind it all.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll bring energy, creativity, passion and a sales focus to engage with our prospects and generate new business opportunities for Stats Perform. You’ll play a critical role in our growth and gain invaluable experience that could springboard you into a career in sales. At Stats Perform, you’ll actively prospect for new leads, execute targeted marketing campaigns, and qualify active buying interest. You’ll typically be the first to interact with a prospect, so it is imperative that you create a phenomenal experience that will set the stage for sales follow up and future account growth. This BDR will receive sales training, technical product training, and will have the opportunity to work closely with Account Executives targeting large accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform outreach activities using various channels including but not limited to calls, emails and LinkedIn.
  • Recognize prospect pain points and how Stats Perform can solve them
  • Understand product use cases to successfully qualify and educate prospective clients on the value of Stats Perform’s products and services
  • Provide concise demonstrations to prospective clients, effectively illustrating potential use cases and applications tailored to their specific business goals
  • Work closely with marketing to develop targeted lists, pre/post event follow-up strategies, and messaging to drive qualified sales opportunities
  • Research and build new target accounts while also acquiring referrals and further contact information from existing prospects
  • Diligently track and report all activities in Salesforce and SalesLoft

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, Analytics or any other relevant field
  • Intellectual curiosity, along with a competitive spirit and desire to meet and achieve goals
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with an ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • A passion for sports, data analytics, or advertising/marketing
  • Results driven & competitive
  • Proven ability to make strong connections and overcome rejection to achieve results
  • Desire to move up the ranks and become an Account Executive in the future required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales development, sales or marketing; experience with data services, software, or technology-enabled services is an advantage
  • Coachable mentality / willingness to learn.
