Responsibilities:

Stats Perform has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the Group’s Finance team in France. Reporting into the VP of Financial Reporting, you will have responsibility for preparing the formal financial accounts for the group’s French entities.

• Manage the audit of the group’s French accounts for specified periods and participate in the selection process for a new auditor and oversee the handover of accounts preparation from the existing preparer.
• Collaborate with VP of Financial Reporting and rationalisation project team on the closure of one of the French entities.
• Participate in discussions with French advisers, registrar of companies, and tax authorities.
• Prepare French statutory accounts using a robust working knowledge of the plan des comptes.
• Work with finance service centre colleagues to generate accurate raw accounting information.
• Work closely with the group’s company secretarial team.
• Produce high-quality financial information and ensure compliance with French reporting and filing obligations.
• Act as a key financial contact for the business.
• Collaborate with financial reporting team on problem-solving and implementing solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• At least part qualification with a recognised French accounting institute
  • DPECF (Diplôme Préparatoire aux Etudes Comptables et Financères)
  • DECF (Diplôme d’Etudes Comptables et Financères)
  • DESCF (Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Comptables et Financères)
• The ability to critically evaluate information and make decisions.
• Planning and organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Languages: French & English

• Experience interacting with internationally based staff or stakeholders
