THE ROLE
The Senior Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within our Managed Services (Agency) business. This role focuses on monitoring, auditing, and validating data across systems to uphold data integrity and support operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive problem solver who can identify and resolve data quality issues at their source. They will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand data interpretation and reporting needs, maintain transparent communication, and drive improvements in data workflows, quality assurance, and reporting processes.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Monitoring and Validation: Through an understanding of our client’s business, business rules, and admissions funnels, ensure client CRM data meets business standards. Regularly monitor and audit data files, pipelines, and ingestion processes to ensure ongoing data integrity
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data quality is maintained and enhanced across disparate data sources, leading the development of any data-oriented guidance
- Process Improvement: Serve as a change agent in process improvements and template standardization to enhance data quality and reporting efficiency
- Reporting and Communication: Deliver clear and actionable insights from data quality audits, and provide visibility into data health through recurring reporting or dashboards
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient completion with minimal supervision
- Workflow Ownership: Take ownership of specific workflows, leading the development and implementation of robust data management practices
LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth
- Provide work guidance and support, including troubleshooting errors and collaborating on solutions within and beyond the analytics team
THE REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a varied audience
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Robust quality control skills to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and reliability
- Self-motivated and proactive, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite
- Adaptability to a complex and changing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Management, or another quantitative field, or relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience in a data management or analysis role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with SQL
- Prior experience in Education Marketing, Recruitment, or Technology products a plus
WORKING CONDITIONS
- No travel is required, but optional travel is encouraged from time to time for team building and in person strategy/planning sessions
