THE ROLE

As the SEO Specialist I, you will be responsible for implementing and executing strategies to improve the search engine rankings of our partner and company websites. You will work closely with the Inbound/SEO team to identify target keywords, analyze website traffic and user behavior, and track the effectiveness of our SEO efforts. This individual understands the importance of on-page optimization and holistic SEO strategy. They are forward-thinking, follow industry leaders, and are always looking to test new ideas. This individual has experience performing deep keyword research that drives qualified traffic. Most importantly, they believe in the core values that drive Archer’s day-to-day operations. They will lead tasks of conducting keyword research, monitoring website traffic, performing link building outreach, and developing improvement strategies to ensure the best possible user experience. They will also assist in content creation and offer suggestions based on data insights. While keeping up to date with new trends and best SEO practices.

This is a full-time remote role.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting keyword research to identify target phrases and terms that will drive traffic to our website
  • Analyzing and optimizing website content and structure to improve search engine rankings
  • Ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives, including the execution of SEO audits and ongoing technical issues, keyword research, metadata development, on-page optimization, interlinking strategies, and other on-page recommendations
  • Account management and client communications around account performance, SEO strategy, execution, and organic search knowledge.
  • Serve as SEO Lead for client strategy, which includes developing a quarterly strategy, leading client calls, and driving execution for all SEO efforts.
  • Working with the content team and other subject matter experts as necessary to provide best practice optimizations for SEO-driven content deliverables, including but not limited to comprehensive guides, shareable assets, core pages, blogs (new and refreshed), etc.
  • Collaborating with the off-page team to develop and implement link building campaigns to improve the authority and credibility of our website
  • Monitoring and analyzing industry trends and best practices to stay up-to-date on the latest SEO strategies and techniques
  • Identify, recommend and implement on-page website Search Engine Optimization
  • Assist Senior SEO Analyst & Director of SEO on additional accounts as background support to learn and develop SEO leadership skills.
  • Identify opportunities to develop tests to support conversion rate optimization efforts
  • Leads freelance resources to balance overflow production work
  • Works with the content strategist and creative team to drive SEO strategy

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • General marketing strategy and how SEO intersects with other channels
  • SEO channel strategy and best practices
  • Thorough knowledge of SEO departmental products and services ranging from technical SEO, content strategy, link building, on-page optimization, etc.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Certifications: Google Analytics Certified, LinkedIn Preferred Skills Badge for SEO
