THE ROLE

Ensure client success by uncovering their strategic objectives, challenges, and needs, and working with internal subject matter experts to develop strategic marketing plans to help them reach their goals. It’s your job to communicate strategically, and often, with university partners and the internal teams, manage/oversee the execution of strategic plans, monitor results, set clear expectations, and ultimately ensure we’re exceeding expectations.

This is a full-time remote role. Our headquarter office is located in Kansas City.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage complex, full service partnerships from launch to completion
  • Uncover client goals, needs and challenges that we need to solve and effectively communicate them to the internal project team to help inform strategy
  • Communicate proactively,
  • Ask the right questions in order to understand client concerns
  • Set and manage client expectations throughout the life of a project,
  • Regularly illustrate Archer’s value and impact
  • Own the prep, scheduling and client coordination of recurring and ad hoc calls, including agenda development, note taking and assigning actions as needed
  • Support the creation of team documentation and process collaboration, as well as client-facing resources
  • Manage client deliverables and communication of assets in appropriate project management/delivery system
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Archer products & services and how they all work together
  • Illustrate advanced knowledge of the strategy development process, strategic template and project charter
  • Lead and facilitate partner introduction and discovery calls
  • Build strong client relationships by holding strategic conversations and providing proactive recommendations
  • Manage the strategy development process, in partnership with the strategy lead, during launch and throughout the life of each partnership (strategy brainstorms, strategy updates, etc)
  • Autonomously lead and manage new partnership and program launches
  • Analyze performance metrics to ensure we’re exceeding goals and expectations across all channels
  • Lead and facilitate quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
  • Onboard and train new team members
  • Assist the Director/Sr Director with projections, gathering client feedback, invoicing and team management
  • Manage monthly client invoicing.
  • Provide work direction and problem-solving assistance to the partnership team and project stakeholders.
  • Directly manage account managers and account coordinators.
  • Provide coaching and training to account and partnership managers.
  • Develop and track partnership group revenue projections and forecasts for agency leadership.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of high-engagement client/account management (preferably tied to marketing)
  • 3+years of digital marketing management experience
  • Proven experience generating results within large-scale, long-term, multi-channel campaigns (PPC, SEO, content marketing, etc.)
  • A complete understanding of holistic marketing strategies and ability to execute across multiple channels
  • Ability to lead marketing strategy discussions with clients
  • Superior communication skills and ability to adapt during client conversations
  • Cross-functional collaboration and brainstorming
  • Project management; process and workflow management
  • marketing strategy development; reading, understanding, and analyzing marketing reports; SEO, paid media, digital PR, content marketing; design thinking
  • Holding teams and people accountable; client management and satisfaction
